News From the Road…

Wow! What a year 5779 has been for me. I performed for 2400 people at Limmud Festival in Birmingham in the UK (check out a snippet here), had my biggest summer yet - visiting 15 Jewish summer camps across North America, and then I moved to Ann Arbor Michigan and began my tenure as Artist in Residence at Temple Israel of West Bloomfield. Together we’re creating innovative and exciting music programing and I’m so lucky to have found this community so quickly after my move. There’s plenty of new music coming your way soon so make sure to sign up for the mailing list to stay notified of new releases! And please reach out if you want to sing together this coming year, or just to say hi! Big Love! JSK

A Jacob Spike Kraus experience in one word? Energy.

My goal is making Judaism exciting for the next generation through music. I love working with all ages and I'm particularly focused on those 11-17 year olds who I find often struggle to get excited about their Jewish Experience.

I would really love to start a conversation about booking a visit with your community for the coming year! What are your needs? What do you look for in visiting artists? From one-off musical services and family friendly concerts to longer visits that include songwriting and text study programs I've truly loved my time spent with intergenerational communities, and they've responded enthusiastically to our time together. Here's just a taste of some of the possibilities:

A cappella/Choral Arrangement | Creative Teen Programming | Song Commissions | & more…
