News From the Road…

This year I’ve visited new communities from Los Angeles California, to Toronto, Ontario. I sang on the Golden Globes’ Stage, performed for 2400 people at Limmud Festival in Birmingham in the UK (check out a snippet here) and I’m looking forward to concerts at Jewish Music Festivals around the country this year. When I'm not teaching at Beit Rabban Day School in Manhattan I serve as Artist in Residence in multiple NFTY regions, and this summer will be my 4th traveling around visiting Jewish Summer Camps. I'm already scheduled to visit thirteen camps this summer. I would love to spend some time with your community as well!

A Jacob Spike Kraus experience in one word? Energy.

My goal is making Judaism exciting for the next generation through music. I love working with all ages and I'm particularly focused on those 11-17 year olds who I find often struggle to get excited about their Jewish Experience.

I would really love to start a conversation about booking a visit with your community for the coming year! What are your needs? What do you look for in visiting artists? From one-off musical services and family friendly concerts to longer visits that include songwriting and text study programs I've truly loved my time spent with intergenerational communities, and they've responded enthusiastically to our time together. Here's just a taste of some of the possibilities:
